more news from the blog

  1. I own a Sony A58 and want to take Macro pictures of coins in particular. Both front and back. Sections or portions of coins which have identifying differences between one and another. In short, my focus is entirely on coins. Which modern day or Minolta lens do you recommend? I own a macro ring and am ready to get up close and personal with coins. Thanks.

  2. A mi sonny alpha 58

  3. After a little more than a year of using this camera for both video and photos, I do have some frustrations with this camera: Inflexible Encoding (interframe, only 1080p with 25 fps effectively usable), low dynamic range and rolling shutter problems. Still, I don't know any camera (+ lens combinations) that can get you better video for less money. Except maybe fixed lens solutions in camcorder-type devices, and these are rubbish for still pictures…

  4. Is sony a58 is good for taking awesome and high quality images without photoshop?
I love taking pictures of wildlife and landscapes.
I wish I will not get disappointed about this camera, I'm planning to buy next month.
    Thanks and Godbless.

  5. Why does she say, that the autofocus System gets less light due to the translucent mirror? In DSLR only a small part of the light gets through the main mirror and reflected DOWNwards to the autofocus sensor in the bottom to the camera. Here a part gets reflected UPwards to the autofocus sensor. But that is not less than on a DSLR.
